A ROLE OF DIGITAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (DIT) AND INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) IN NEW EDUCATION POLICY

This research paper examines the role of Digital Information Technology (DIT) and Information Communication Technology (ICT) in the new Education Policy, which emphasizes the importance of technology in education to make it more accessible and inclusive for all. The literature review explores the evolution of DIT and ICT in education and their impact on the learning process, as well as the challenges of integrating technology into education. The qualitative research methodology involves data collection through interviews with teachers and students. The results reveal the potential of DIT and ICT to transform education by making it more personalized and engaging, but also highlight challenges such as the need for professional development for teachers and equitable access to technology. The discussion examines the implications of the findings for education policymakers, teachers, and students, emphasizing the need for adequate infrastructure, resources, and equitable access to technology to achieve the policy goals. Overall, this research paper provides valuable insights into the role of DIT and ICT in education and their potential to revolutionize education.
