INFORMATION SEEKING BEHAVIOUR ABOUT SOIL TESTING AND USE OF FERTILIZERS BY THE FARMERS OF BELAGAVI DISTRICT: A STUDY

In this study an attempt was made to identify the awareness of soil testing and usage of Fertilizers by the farmers of Belagavi District. This study was conducted by survey method with structured questionnaire tool to collect data. Total 500 farmers were randomly selected for the study. The study was conducted through structured interview with 500 farmers from 10 talukas of Belagavi District;50 respondents from each talukas from various categories were selected and interviewed for the result.)
