Adaptive communication skills are increasingly recognized as a vital component of IT project management, where complexity, diversity, and the dynamic nature of teams often challenge traditional communication methods. This study explores the role of adaptive communication in IT project success, highlighting its impact on key metrics such as project completion rates, budget adherence, and stakeholder satisfaction. The research uses a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative data from surveys, interviews, and secondary sources to analyze the effectiveness of adaptive strategies. The findings underscore the importance of customizing communication approaches to suit diverse audiences, demonstrating a significant positive correlation between adaptive communication and improved project outcomes. Recommendations for enhancing adaptive communication skills include targeted training programs, the integration of digital tools, and the promotion of a culture that encourages open dialogue. This paper contributes novel insights into the application of adaptive communication in IT project management, offering practical strategies for managers to navigate complex project environments successfully.
