In the contemporary and dynamic landscape of business, the retention of skilled and experienced software professionals is a critical challenge faced by organizations. High turnover within the software industry not only results in substantial costs but also leads to a loss of productivity and knowledge. To address this challenge, organizations must adopt effective strategies to attract and retain talented software professionals. This research study aims to assess the various employee retention strategies implemented by organizations within the software industry. The study will delve into factors influencing employee retention and evaluate the effectiveness of diverse strategies employed to retain software professionals. Specifically, the research will investigate the impact of organizational culture, work-life balance initiatives, career development opportunities, compensation packages, and employee engagement practices on employee retention.
