This study investigates the impact of digital transformation on design education, focusing on the role of Learning Management Systems (LMS) as a pivotal tool in this evolution. As educational institutions increasingly integrate digital technologies, design education stands at a critical juncture where traditional pedagogical methods are being supplemented and, in some cases, replaced by digital tools. This case study examines how LMS platforms enhance student engagement, facilitate creative collaboration, and improve learning outcomes in design education. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys with design students, educators, and administrators. Additionally, academic performance and engagement metrics are analyzed before and after the implementation of LMS to assess its effectiveness. Preliminary findings indicate that LMS significantly enhances student engagement through interactive and flexible learning modules. The platforms also promote collaboration among students via discussion boards, virtual studios, and project management tools, which are essential in a field that thrives on teamwork and creativity. The study also identifies challenges such as the steep learning curve associated with new technologies, varying levels of digital literacy among students and faculty, and the need for continuous technical support. Despite these challenges, the overall impact of LMS on design education is positive, suggesting that digital transformation, when effectively managed, can lead to enriched educational experiences and outcomes.
