A STUDY ON ANALYSIS OF PERFORMANCE OF SELECTED EQUITY INDEX MUTUAL FUNDS

The purpose of the study is to examine the investment style of the large-cap equity mutual funds in India using style-exposure analysis proposed by Sharpe (1992). It examines the different metrics which are helpful for the investors to choose the right mutual fund scheme. The study uses Regression model over select equity index funds the period January 2024–May2024. The results of the study show that the study found that in equity index schemes, the schemes S&P CNX Nifty UTI National Expository Receipts, ICICI Sensex prudential Exchange Traded Fund, HDFC Index Fund Sensex plan are performing better than market.
