Abstract

This paper explores the profound feelings of betrayal and letdown within the Palestinians since the War on Gaza started in October 2023. The extensive review shows that despite these feelings critically impacting the human experience, especially with a war in which all human rights have been broken, the emotional landscape of betrayal and disillusionment remains underexplored. Therefore, the researcher sees these feelings need to be seen further from the psychological, sociopolitical, and historical dimensions.
