A STUDY ON IMPACT OF PANDEMIC ON WORK- LIFE BALANCE OF GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATE STAFF NURSES

Background: From ages, work-life balance issues are affecting wellbeing of employees, wherein, employees have proper work- life balance; to be productive, less absenteeism, higher morale and no turn over during the uncertain times and hence lack of work-life balance among government and private staff nurses has become the major challenge for its stakeholders associated professionally and personally. The reviews of literature helped identifying key variables; work environment, pay & benefits, family support are major reasons for better work- life balance parameters. The study consists structured questionnaires in the form of 5 points Likert’s scale. Hence the research paper attempts to study the influence of pandemic on work- life balance among government and private staff nurses with listed Hypothesis.
Research Methods: Descriptive research design & convenient sampling technique used to collect responses from 126 government and private staff nurses in Bangalore. To carry out the further analysis SPSS software is been used and tools such as, factor analysis, reliability analysis and regression are used to find the impact of pandemic on work- life balance among government and private staff nurses.
Results: The results of the study has proved that pandemic has a significant impact on key factors and have influence on work- life balance among government and private staff nurses in the selected region of study’s.
