The research has focused on the aspect of improving user experience in library settings by analysing information behaviour such as individual preference, and information-seeking approach. It has been observed that UX and information behaviour are significantly correlated and thus it is appropriate to analyse individual information behaviour through observational studies, surveys and interviews. AI and IoT can be integrated to conduct behavioural analysis to optimise library experience with personalised services. The methodology section includes the research design and research paradigm that portrays the different aspects of the research process. The overall result depicts the importance of the cognitive mapping in the enrichment of the student’s information-seeking behaviour.
