Abstract

This paper presents an examination of the current state, limitations, and upcoming research areas in the use of data mining in education. It covers the history and present applications of data mining in education, along with examples of successful implementation in Indian schools. The drawbacks of data mining in education, including privacy issues and difficulties in interpreting findings, are also addressed. The paper delves into new research areas in education data analytics, such as personalized.
