Abstract

The quest to understand the origins of the world is a profound endeavour that spans various disciplines, including science, philosophy, and mythology. This paper seeks to provide a comprehensive synthesis of these perspectives, examining how scientific theories, philosophical inquiries, and mythological narratives converge and diverge in explaining the creation of the universe. From the scientific viewpoint, we explore cosmological theories such as the Big Bang model and the formation of cosmic structures, elucidating how empirical data and observational evidence contribute to our understanding of the universe's origins. In contrast, philosophical perspectives offer critical reflections on the nature of existence and the implications of different creation theories, questioning the metaphysical underpinnings and the limits of human knowledge. Ancient accounts from various cultures provide rich, symbolic narratives that offer insight into humanity's historical and cultural interpretations of creation. By analyzing these myths, we uncover the symbolic and moral dimensions that shape human understanding of the cosmos. This paper integrates these diverse viewpoints to propose a holistic framework that acknowledges the strengths and limitations of each perspective. By bridging scientific explanations with philosophical inquiries and mythological insights, we aim to foster a more nuanced appreciation of the origins of the world and highlight the value of interdisciplinary approaches in addressing fundamental questions about existence.
