TRANSFORMING MOBILITY: THE IMPACT OF AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE TECHNOLOGIES IN URBAN ENVIRONMENTS
Keywords:
Urban Mobility, Autonomous Vehicle, Smart Infrastructure, Environmental Sustainability, Public Transportation IntegrationAbstract
This article looks at how self-driving cars could change the way people get around cities, with a focus on how they fit into cityscapes. It talks about the challenges and possibilities that autonomous technologies bring, as well as how these vehicles promise to make transportation safer, more efficient, and better for the environment. The article talks about how important it is for different groups, like city governments, transportation authorities, and tech companies, to work together so that self-driving cars can work with current infrastructure and public transportation systems. The article talks about the possible benefits of self-driving cars by looking at different studies and real-life examples. These benefits include fewer car accidents, better traffic flow, lower emissions, and better use of land. Nevertheless, it also recognizes the problems that need to be fixed, such as the need for big investments in infrastructure, new rules, and care for data security and privacy.
